Where to stay in Ibiza: San Antonio, Ibiza Town or Playa D’en Bossa?
By Oleg Ilyushin
Playa D’en Bossa has the longest sand beach and it’s the most popular resort on the island. There are three big clubs: Space, Ushuaia and Sankeys; plus various beach bars featuring the most famous Bora Bora. Ibiza town is close, you may reach it by foot. Lots of shops and restaurants. Many hotels for every taste and budget, from 5-star Hard Rock Hotel to an “all-inclusive” Algarb Hotel. International crowd.
Ibiza Town (Eivissa) is the largest city on the island and it’s famous by its Old Town and the harbor. Museums, art galleries, citadel of Dalt Vila, bars, restaurants, shops – the capital of Ibiza does have something for anyone. Ibiza or Eivissa hosts the world-famous Pacha night club. Locals live here.
San Antonio. You probably heard of sunsets in Café del Mar and Mambo? Add here Eden Ibiza, Es Paradis, Ocean Beach and Ibiza Rocks and you might get the picture. Accommodation in San Antonio is usually cheaper than Playa D’en Bossa. Enjoy the new promenade or take a walk down the Sunset Strip. San Antonio is very popular among British and German young clubbers.
Looking for something quiet? Try Santa Eulalia, the island’s gastronomic centre. Or Cap Martinet with infamous Destino Pacha Ibiza Resort and Talamanca Beach nearby. Whatever your choice this summer, Ibiza will not disappoint you.
